OUR HISTORY

Carpet is in our blood. Our history of carpet weaving goes back to 1930, long before India became Independent, when our forefather started weaving on loom. It started from a small room of his house and flourished as a family business. Soon his honesty & dedication drew the attention of a foreign company M/s Tailory and Sons which was in export business in Bhadohi - Mirzapur belt, India for a long time. That is how a carpet made in Bhadohi earned a name in Europe. Getting an incentive, our grandfather established a firm M/s S.M. Suleman and Sons, in 1950, one of the earliest companies in Bhadohi, which exported carpets to England. But the real job was done by our father Mr. Mohd Ayub, who inherited the art of manufacturing and exporting carpets. It was in 1965, and since then he never looked back despite various challenges and changes in the industry. He has always been known as an initiator when it comes to innovation & revolution in carpets.
